Your argument against Buddhism could equally be used against stoicism. But while Buddhism uses spiritual subjectivity to prove its rational, stoicism uses logical argument.

All of life is suffering to the stoic too. But where the Buddhist tries to end suffering, the stoic embraces it and acts nobly in its face. Sisyphus isn't a story about human suffering. Rather it is a story of the human spirit acting nobly in the face of injustice.
