What if climate change wasn’t “human-induced”? What would we do then? We would focus on creating resilient cities, infrastructure, and react to nature, not social factors. Maybe we relocate cities at water level. Maybe we create a more sustainable and resilient electrical grid. Focusing on “human-induced” actions has stopped us from taking action to create resiliency in our society. Even if climate change is human-induced, we should take these actions first to prevent loss of life. Build resiliency first, then focus on what is causing climate change. This is the real reason the right doesn’t believe in climate change. If it was real, we would be focusing on resiliency first.
