Vaccines do little to stop the spread of Covid. Their purpose, as stated by the pharmaceutical companies, is to reduce extreme illness and death from Covid. Not to control the pandemic.

I think we need to pivot away from vaccines being the magic bullet for the pandemic, to a more sound and scientific approach. This means several different strategies, but the first and foremost should be therapeutics, and better treatment for people getting sick. Not government mandates.
