Under Postmodernism all knowledge has a ‘value’, either good or bad. There is a need to socially validate or condemn both the idea, and the person generating it. This type of thinking becomes a religious belief similar to the church condemning science in Galileo’s time. Unfortunately Postmodern thought has become a religious belief for many on the Left. In trying to be compassionate and validating ‘good’ knowledge, it makes it impossible to engage in open and free thought. It is ironic the progressive left has become censors and anti-intellectual. But this is where we are.

Medium is not a public square where all speech is allowed. It should not be surprising that gatekeepers exist here. They exist on most social media platforms. The only thing surprising is how low the bar is for censorship.
