The success or failure of the U.S. and China both rest on economics. The U.S. relies on global capitalism and free markets, while China relies on a command economy where capitalism is controlled by the CCP. One is a dispersed matrix of companies, the other a centralized control of industries. A dispersed matrix always seems chaotic, but always wins in the end. It has ways of growing and changing that a centralized command economy can not. We are currently seeing capitalism evolve into something new. I don’t think China will allow the chaos and messiness of an open system.
