The problem is deeper than just 'capitalism' and corporations. It is over-production; creation of "surplus-value", capital. This creates an exploitation of nature and workers. Yet even in command economies like China, they over-produce even worse than the U.S.. They are the main users of coal fire plants and produce more CO2 than any other country. So fighting 'capitalism' does little. The solution is rethinking 'production' and 'consumption' so we don't need to over-produce and over-consume. Instead of structuring our society around "surplus-value" we need to figure out a way to structure it around "use-value" and produce just enough.
