The Federal Government is failing due to corporate capture. Both Trump and Biden have eroded the power of the Federal Government. Corporations put these two into office with the idea they would be feckless leaders. It worked!

Luckily the founding fathers instituted Federalism, which gives states power so there is a balance. I see the coming decade as the states taking on more power, and the federal government losing power. Covid response, Roe vs. Wade, and the banning of the EPA to limit GHGs are signs the fed is losing power. The U.S. may devolve into a European Union style group of states. This is the trajectory of the U.S. for at least the next decade.
