The bigger issue with Disney is what are they teaching our children? Previously they were pushing the 'Princess' archetype which taught girls to be good daughters, wives, and mothers. This was problematic because women could be so much more. Now they are pushing the 'Superhero' archetype which teaches boys, (and now girls), to be good soldiers and workers. Great if you want to train a generation of soldiers, policemen, and low wage workers. The problem with this training is it takes place in 3-6 year olds, who have no defense against it. It is almost impossible to break unconscious stereotypes when people get older.
