So then the question is your value system. When trying to chose between objective science, and social construction, which is more important to you? Do you advocate for gender equity, even when that is opposition to the 'science' or vice versa? You cannot value both equally. Knowledge can be both objective and social, but you need a value systems that prioritizes one over another. Is it better to be objectively true, or socially good?

This is why these issues are so talked about in our society. We, as a culture, are trying to reevaluate our value system.
