Remember when there was a hole in the ozone layer and we were all going to die? We were told we must use sun tan oil or we would get cancer. Then we banned CFCs and the hole repaired itself. Now we are not going to die. No one talks of sun tan oil anymore.

CO2 production is part of the same climate doom. Much of our GHG emissions is from coal fire plants. If we just do one thing and ban coal I think 80% of the problem will be solved. The constant misinformation around climate change is much like sun tan oil in the 1990s. Banning paper or plastic bags is not going to stop climate change. Neither is eating vegan, driving electric cars, or using paper straws. The one real thing we can do is stop coal production.
