Reducing consumption is not the answer if the problem is climate change. There is no way the central coast can reduce their water consumption and not impact agriculture and food production for the whole country. We should have invested in desalination plants decades ago. Are we too late now? Can we develop the will to start developing more resilient infrastructure? Instead of blaming people for consuming too much, how about we hold our leaders accountable for their poor decisions they have been making for decades.
