Modernism and Postmodernism are not philosophies or even world views. They are technologies. Modernism is the technology of the industrial age and colonialism. Postmodernism is the technology of postindustrial society and the information age. The idea that you could wage warfare on technology is perhaps one of the biggest misconceptions people have.
