Modern society will always need a certain amount of fossil fuel use. There is no way to produce concrete, glass, plastic, or steel without it. Folks calling for a complete stop of its usage are either misinformed or crazy.

But we can and should try to decarbonize as many industrial sectors as possible. Architects are doing that with building operations electrifying everything. Certainly much of the transportation industry can be decarbonized.

The whole ‘Net-Zero’ is a scam. We will always need a certain amount of fossil fuels if nothing else for manufacturing.
