I've lived in and moved out of the San Francisco Bay Area at least three or four times. Each time the excuse for moving was money and how expensive everything is in California. It creates a constant anxiety when your are here, and constant longing for when you leave.

Most people living in the San Francisco Bay Area are making money not from an hourly working class wage, but from either a tech job, or investments and capital.

But there is no escape. The destruction of the working class is coming to all of the U.S.. California is just on the leading edge.
