It’s not just the rich moving to Texas, but the working class too. People are pissed off that they are paying such high taxes and cost of living, and the standard of living just keeps going down and down. California and New York are especially bad. San Jose (Silicon Valley) today just went from the 10th largest city to the 12th largest as people are moving to Texas and Florida. People are voting on failed ‘liberal’ policies with their feet.

In New York and California the rich leaving are putting a huge hole in the state budgets as most of the revenue comes from the rich. I forget the actual numbers but it something like the top 5% pay 90% of the income tax. New York may be worse with the top 1% paying 90%.
