It would be nice if you explained power loss due to transmission. This is usually estimated to be about 5-15%, but in some cases can be as high as 20-30%. This is very important in understanding energy efficiency.
I would also suggest writing an article on California’s attempt to ‘electrify everything’. I did some calculations on vehicle miles traveled and gas consumption, and it seems impossible for California to increase the energy grid by 2035 to accommodate all electric vehicles as currently required. The energy production would need to triple just for electric vehicles never mind other electrical consumption like buildings.
