I think what people miss about Peterson is that he is entirely popular due to Youtube. The demographic on Youtube is young white males. Ask your grandmother who Jordan Peterson is and she probably doesn't know.

This demographic is the same as Joe Rogan. The problem is young white men are not being represented or heard by mainstream media at this point, and this has fueled the popularity of folks like Rogan and Peterson.
