I don’t think there was a problem with carbon extraction technology. We know it can work. The problem is a social one in who will pay for it? Will we create a ‘carbon tax’ and tax everyone on the planet for everything and use this to subsidize CO2 removal? Will governments pay for this with tax dollars? Will we create some type of ‘cap and trade’ system? These social questions are the real problem.
