I don't think the problem is taxing billionaires, but rather getting them to pay their fair share. Bezos/Amazon paid no taxes in 2018 while making more than $11 billion in profit, and getting a $129 million dollar tax rebate. The government needs to get rid of the deductions, rebates, and tax credits. Democrats blame the Republicans for all the tax cutting ( under Trump). But you can see from the 'Inflation Reduction Act' both parties are giving away tax deductions to their donors and corporations.
