I can not ever understand why people who are ethnically and historically ‘Spanish’ are considered “people of color”. The Spanish colonized, enslaved, and killed native Americans. Just because their ancestors came from Southern Europe instead of Northern Europe they are considered POC?

Democrats have a real problem on their hands. Hispanics culturally and economically are actually very conservative. All that is needed to tip the scales is for one really good Hispanic Republican to run for president.
