I agree with your assessment. Being new to Medium I keep trying to understand where these radical viewpoints are coming from, and why they are so popular on this platform. The only assessment I can make is that Medium incentivizes ‘click-baity’ content, and this radicalizes the dialog, and normalizes radical view points. This disrupts normal sense-making and destroys real knowledge.
