I agree that there has been a history of systemic racism and white supremacy. I think the best approach to combat this is to tell your personal experiences to humanize the problem, so I applaud you and your approach.

But… As Malcolm X stated the worst enemy to the African American is the White Liberal Democrat. They ‘hoodwink’ them into thinking they are helping them. The narrative of victim/victimizer/savior runs through Critical Race Theory, with the white liberal intellectual being the savior. Thus ‘black and brown people’ become a political pawn in the larger game of politics.

I think the Democratic Party has stopped being the party of the working class, and has become the party of professionals and neoliberals. They are becoming a party of ‘Postmodernists’ that use identity politics to create cohesion. They are creating Marxist “false consciousness” to trick the working class into thinking they have their best interests in mind.

My suggestion is to keep telling your own personal truth and experiences, but not to be tricked by the white liberal and used by them for political purposes.
