How about a radical idea, instead of trying to do everything and accomplishing nothing, we just do one thing and get it done right in under ten years. That one big thing would be to phase out coal. This is the most juice for the squeeze. Like phasing out CFCs, eliminating coal is very do-able. Instead of focusing on all CO2 production, just phase out coal for now. Then we can work on the other fossil fuels. The problem with the IPCC and the UN is they have too many goals, and none are realistic.
