Capitalism, the organization of society around production, is over. Postcapitalism, organizing society around bureaucratic control of consumption, is in full swing since the pandemic. They proved their concept that they could shut down production by controlling consumption. Now they are resetting the monetary system. To completely control production they need to shut down fossil fuels. Thus the need for solar and wind.

You of all people should know we are moving into a postcapitalist world.

But postcapitalism won't solve climate change or make the world a better place. It will mean governments having more bureaucratic control over consumption, creating a corporate state.
