Capitalism over-produces and over-consumes and creates wealth inequality. Climate change is created from this over-production and exploitation of nature.

Unfortunately, socialism and a planned economy over-produces and exploits nature just as much as capitalism. The only difference is the power structure. The amount of coal fire plants China has built in the last 20 years is a good example. China now produces more GHG than any country on the planet. They are more efficient at over-production and exploiting the planet than capitalist countries.
