By selectively giving facts, and not the most important ones, you lie by omission. China is producing about 36% of global CO2 emissions while the United States only 14% and decreasing. This is due specifically to China’s coal fire plants. They have built thousands in the last 20 years, and continue to build about 70 a year. They are also building 200 more around the world in developing countries. China has built more concrete and steel in the last 20 years than the United States has since the turn of the century. This is the real reason for the uptick in global warming. The real problem is not industrialized countries like the U.S.. The problem is how do undeveloped countries and continents like India and Africa develop and modernize, and not follow the China model of building hundreds or thousands of coal fire plants. This is the real problem: uneven development, how does the developing world develop without destroying the planet?
