As the great philosopher T. Swift said; " Don't hate the player, hate the game."

Industrialization and automation creates surplus-value: capital. Industrialists must re-invest this surplus-value to create more surplus-value. That is how capitalism works.

Should this surplus-value be shared among the workers and all people? Sure, but then it turns into 'use-value' and is no longer 'surplus-value'. Marxism 101. This is why socialism and communism does not work because it redistributes wealth and stops additional surplus-value from being created.

We need to rethink the fundamentals of the capitalist system, not hate on the industrialists for playing the game better than you.
